Give me your hand I'll lead you through the darkness Just take my hand, Trust for you is the hardest. And I can't be wrong cause I've seen things go right before And I can't say no ‘cause I've been down this road before and I know the way Tell me, when you learned to stand Were you able to run? Could you even put one foot in front of the other without holding somebody's hand? I've grown accustomed to shedding the skin on my back for the ones who never had it in the first place. It's second nature to assume the best in everyone hides deep down. No matter how abrasive they turned out to be, but that's fine by me. Keep coming at me. My sacrifice in mind Apologies accepted I'll take this to my grave. Tell me, when you learned to stand Were you able to run? Could you even put one foot in front of the other without holding somebody's hand? I've grown accustomed to shedding the skin on my back for the ones who never had it in the first place. It's second nature to assume the best in everyone hides deep down. Hides deep down. There's not a thing in life I need, But good friends and my family. Worth every drop of blood I bleed. I stand behind my friends because they stand behind me. My rough hands are growing soft. My thick skin can only take so much. If you reach out I'll do my best. Just to keep your heart inside your chest. There's not a thing in life I need, But good friends and my family. Worth every drop of blood I bleed. I stand behind my friends because they stand behind me. Tell me, when you learned to stand Were you able to run? Could you even put one foot in front of the other without holding somebody's hand? I've grown accustomed to shedding the skin on my back for the ones who never had it in the first place. It's second nature to assume the best in everyone hides deep down.

We all wear our own disguise Not to cover up our lies But how it's seen in another's eyes. The games we play with secret lives We twist the truth, sever our ties in hopes to be seen in a better light. We cover up the scars That hide what we've made up And sleep with one eye shut Because big brother's watching us. And when the dawn breaks through, Deceit will shed some light on the truth Held deep inside will bring us all to life Keep your eyes peeled for the latest trend You can lie, You can lie all you want All you have to do is pretend it's the truth Show me where you belong Among the dead that walk Stand up and make your case Before the curtain call Secrets breed regrets Held above our heads We hoard and adore them all 'Till we cut their precious threads Swept under the rug of your pride Where will you hide? If there was a way to see through Darkened corners of your mind I would sick the truth on you And let your conscience rob you blind. In the game of life we play to win Against the odds we place our bids Our cards laid out for all to see Our lies become our legacy We lose our bets We've gone all in If we fold it'll be all over We could walk away and they'll never know.

My tongue dances around my lips I'll tie it tighter so I don't trip To tell the truth I dare not risk In my reality I am convinced. I really messed up this time Fabricated truth I hide behind I'm really messed up this time, but you'll never find out. You've backed me into a corner Like a thief you have caught me red handed The truth shown on my face Heart’s in the right place These secrets keep building my stories a fortress. There's no use lying when everyone knows the truth Telling tales much taller than you Your eyes only see what you tell them to And how you're numb now There's nothing left to do The cat's out of the bag and it's turned on you. Turned on you. I know you love proving me wrong But I've been right, I've been right all along You've rehearsed your lies just like a song You've hit all the notes to make truth wrong. Now I know that I've done you wrong At the end of your rope, you won't last long And all your friends will be long gone Without their help you can ponder on How to cure this cancer when you're gone I won't take this from the likes of you. It's not my fault you can't face the truth. You're a sickness, a curse upon me. It's all in your head, believe me baby. What will it take for my sickness to die? Look in the mirror, confront all your lies. I can't, I can't, they'll devour me whole And so I've decided it's time to go To leave your story to twist and grow.

V (Five) 03:52
Holding your heart in your hand will only get it stolen from your grasp If you put yourself first true love can never last. Maybe if we were closer, you wouldn't be so far away. And maybe if I were stronger, I wouldn’t let my weaknesses lead me astray. But I'm done with maybe It's all or nothing No in-between You can't fix what was broken when it was made You can't fix what you wrecked from the start and tore it apart You keep breaking the lock, while I hold the key You say it's jealous talk, but why can't you see? You're only chasing the one that got away You're tired of chasing the one that got The one that got away But I'm done with maybe It's all or nothing No in-between You can't fix what was broken when it was made You can't fix what was broken when it was made If forever finds a home and it's where you reside, I'll be your forever if you'll just be mine. The truth is, forever fades and dies We're all left speechless with no excuse for our lies. Maybe if we were closer, you wouldn't be so far away, maybe if I were stronger... If home is where the heart is, My home is the empty hole in your chest Call me a masochist Call me a fool For watching you leaving Standing there waiting for you.

Emergence 04:29
Before you call it quits Before you say that it's over Just know it's not set in stone. Your might can make all the difference If you believe on your own. Despite the way things deter you today Just know I've been there before and I've see the looks you get. I've heard what they all tell you still you haven't failed yet. The truth is You've only failed once you have quit. Never let go Of the dreams that you hold on to. There's a fire burning in your heart, That refuses to go out. So light it up, Let their doubts be your fuel. When the smoke clears confront your fears. Let's prove them all wrong. There's no use in fighting for your dreams if you can't fight for yourself. So raise up your fists This is the fight of your life This is our emergence Leaving all our regrets behind us We wear our scars with pride Because they are what made us Like the snow falls from the sky Like the subtle uniqueness in all of us In somebody's eyes were perfect There's no such thing as worthless. Now let’s show them what we’re made of.

Empty Oceans 03:06
He set out to sail No course on his map. Across the empty oceans he drags his vessel down the path. Turbulent tides of troubled times batter his brain before he breaks. He falls to his knees amidst the barren seas. Crying out in agony. But it's too late to turn back, to erase what's done. So he carries on. The mind is so delicate and frail. So why do we use it like it's a jail? We lock up the feelings too hostile to show, they've planted a seed, now watch them grow. They say that the captain goes down with the ship, but what if the ship isn't sinking? He's drowning from all that he's held inside, and a poison he can't stop drinking. I know you're still out there, dragging your ship of regrets with you. Alone, afraid, and ashamed of your past. But you're too far gone for me to find you. The time for forgiveness has come and passed. But I want you to know that I understand, you couldn't reach out to a world so ignorant. Just like I couldn't reach out to my father's hand. We all have a journey that we must take. But why did mine lead my family astray? I want you to know I'm becoming a man. For you I will do the best that I can to show you that love can bring the rain And make the oceans full again.
